INNOVATIVE WORK AND REPORT


                                               

INTRODUCTION

                  My innovative work is a still model of "Human Digestive System" made by using Improvised aids ( Locally available materials ). The model shows all of the organs of the digestive system as they relate to one another. It includes the Mouth, Pharynx, Oesophagus, Stomach, Small intestine and Large intestine. The Salivary glands, Liver, Gall bladder and Pancreas are major accessory organs that have a role in digestion. These organs secrete fluids into the digestive tract. The Tongue and Teeth are accessory structures located in the mouth. The food is broken down, bit by bit, until the molecules are small enough to be absorbed and the waste products are eliminated.

OBJECTIVES

  • To enable the pupil to get a proper idea about the digestive system, though the materials used for making the model are familiar.
  • To familiarize the topic more simpler (easier) to them.
  • To develop an interest in studying the process of digestion in humans.
  • To develop an attitude of Re-using the materials found in our surroundings.
  • To make them remember the location of each organs of the digestive system in their mind.
  • To develop creativity (Thinking ability) among students.
