WEEKLY REFLECTION (27-11-17 to 1-12-17 )

                                                   On this third week, my concerned optional teacher Rumaiza Mam visited the school on monday for the observation of my class. I took the topic "Excretory organs & the synthesis of urea" on 9th B showing the different excretory organs using ICT and the synthesis of urea using Slide Presentation. She had given good comments on my teaching. As the Kollam Sub-district Kalolsavam had been moving ahead on this week, many of the students from our school had went for participating in this. A special moment is that, Archa from Std.7th A got first A grade in  Malayalam poem recitation and Vijayalekshmi from my class 9th B also got first A grade in Sanskrit speech. The Headmistress appreciate them in the school assembly. A special occassion is that, an awareness programme on "NOISE POLLUTION" has been conducted on wednesday by the Rotary club of kollam palace city in our school. Their awareness class has been centered around to propagate the message of safe sound and to discourage the making of excess noise. They rendered the hazardous effects of making of excess noise to our body to the students. The team co-ordinator of this programme Sathyan sir had presented a demonstration also on "GLOBAL HANDWASH". I took the topic 'Excretion in other animals and in plants' using Slide Presentation on 9th B this week. Though I had completed the chapter "Why classification" for 8th B on the previous class, I make them to do the extended activities  of the lesson. This week I conducted Diagnostic Test for 8th B students from the portion 'Taxonomy' of the chapter "Why Classification". The Morning assembly conducted by the 9th B students on wednesday was in a quite different way so that they had presented the assembly in hindi language highlighting the prayer song, pledge etc. On thursday, the classes were wind up at 2.30pm due to heavy rain and announced holiday on the next day (Friday) for Nabidinam. Thus, I had a wonderful week.
